In order to advance the implementation of Patient and Public Involvement and engagement (PPIE) in Switzerland, a group of some 20 patient centered organisations called «Lindenhofgruppe» is planning a national PPIE symposium in Bern bringing together many key stakeholders from across the country.
EUPATI CH decided to join this symposium and to integrate the annual Swiss Patient Forum into this large event. It is planned that the Swiss Patient Forum will feature workshops and panel discussions as usual, whereas the concrete format is still depending on the overall programme of the PPIE symposium.
Currently, representative groups from various organizations involved in PPI development in Switzerland are collaborating to create an engaging and inspirational programme. The event is scheduled to take place early November 2024 in Bern.
