The EUPATI National Platform in Switzerland was launched on 3 February 2016 in Bern. EUPATI – the European Patients’ Academy for Therapeutic Innovation – has similar national networks in other countries across Europe. With the help of EUPATI and its National Platforms, patients can educate themselves using the EUPATI toolbox, and the EUPATI Patient Expert Training Course to better engage in medicines research and development processes. 140 representatives of health and patient organisations, authorities and academy participated in the launch event, and signatures were collected to demonstrate the willingness of individual stakeholders to become EUPATI National Platform members.
The programme as well as the presentations and a press release are available here (https://www.scto.ch/en/event-calendar/patient-empowerment/eupati-switzerland-launch-2016.html)
